In-Person Absentee Voting Ends Today for Rusk Voters
COMMUNITYLADYSMITH — Sunday, November 1 is the last day Rusk County voters may be able to vote absentee in person for the Tuesday, November 3 general election, according to MyVote Wisconsin.
The in-person absentee period runs from October 20 possibly through November 1 at municipal clerks' offices, and office hours vary by municipality, so voters should check MyVote Wisconsin or contact their municipal clerk before traveling. A photo ID is required with an absentee ballot request.
Voters who still hold an absentee ballot must return it so their municipal clerk receives it no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3. Polls on Election Day are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and eligible voters can register at their polling place that day with proof of residence.
