Recording Posted From Rusk County Sheriff's Candidates Forum
COMMUNITYLADYSMITH — The full recording of the Rusk County Sheriff's Candidates Forum is now available from the Rusk Area Chamber of Commerce, which hosted the event on Wednesday, October 21, at Firm Foundation Academy in Ladysmith.
Three candidates participated: incumbent Sheriff Phil Grassmann and write-in candidates Marc Egle and Jim Menard. Each discussed professional experience, leadership approach, public safety priorities and a vision for Rusk County, according to the Chamber.
The Chamber organized the forum as a nonpartisan community service and does not endorse any candidate through it. The forum was held ahead of the November 3, 2026 general election, and the Chamber's page links voters to MyVote Wisconsin for voting information.
